Ensure the product manager and engineering manager meet to groom and prioritise the product backlog, and understand what the team will be working on before the sprint planning meeting
During the sprint planning meeting,
Schedule sync for release planning with all teams
Create a deck for facilitating the release planning session
Estimate how long the release is going to take through Jira.
Start observing the team’s scrum process and identify gaps by comparing it with the department’s scrum process. Make recommendations and share them with the team.
Align with engineering managers and product managers on the team’s estimation process, facilitate the communication and adoption of this process across all teams.
